How to Apply Filters

1 Open the Dashboard

Go to your Clickyard dashboard and find the website you want to analyze.

2 Select Date Range

Click on the date range selector and choose a preset or custom date range.

3 Add UTM or Landing Page Filters

Click the filter buttons to see available values. Clickyard automatically detects UTM parameters and landing pages from your traffic.

Note: Only values that exist in your data will appear in the filter dropdowns.

4 Generate Filtered Report

After applying filters, click "Generate Report". The report will only analyze sessions matching your filter criteria.

Common Use Cases

Analyze a Paid Campaign

Filter by utm_source=google and utm_medium=cpc to see how Google Ads traffic behaves differently from organic visitors.

This helps you optimize ad spend by understanding which elements drive conversions for paid traffic.

Compare Landing Pages

Generate separate reports for different landing pages to see which page layout and content drives better conversions.

Compare how users interact with zones on your homepage vs. a dedicated product page.

Evaluate Email Campaign

Filter by utm_source=newsletter to analyze behavior of subscribers who clicked through from your email campaigns.

Email subscribers often have different intent than cold traffic — optimize accordingly.

Before/After Comparison

Generate reports for different date ranges to see how a website change affected user behavior.

Made a change to your CTA? Compare this week to last week to measure the impact.

Combining Multiple Filters

You can combine multiple filters to create highly targeted reports. Filters work together with an AND logic.

Example: Analyzing Black Friday campaign from Facebook

Date: Nov 20-27+utm_source: facebook+utm_campaign: black_friday

This will only include sessions from Facebook traffic during Black Friday with the specific campaign tag.

Saved Filters

Clickyard automatically remembers your last used filters for each website. When you return to the dashboard, your previous filter settings will be pre-applied.

Tip: To reset filters, click the "Clear filters" button or select "All time" for the date range.
