Sharing Reports

Share your Clickyard reports with team members, clients, or stakeholders using shareable links that don't require a Clickyard account.

How Sharing Works

Each report can generate a unique public link that allows anyone to view the report without logging in to Clickyard.

Unique Share Link

Each report gets a unique URL token that grants read-only access to that specific report.

Read-Only Access

Viewers can see the report and insights but cannot edit, regenerate, or access other reports.

No Account Required

Recipients don't need a Clickyard account to view shared reports.

Revocable Access

You can delete the report at any time to revoke access to the shared link.

Creating a Share Link

1 Generate or Open a Report

First, generate a report from your dashboard or open an existing report that you want to share.

2 Click the Share Button

In the report view, look for the "Share" button. It's typically in the header area of the report.

3 Copy the Share Link

A modal will appear with your unique share link. Click the copy button to copy it to your clipboard.

4 Share with Recipients

Send the link via email, Slack, or any other communication channel. Recipients can view the report immediately.

What's Included in Shared Reports

Shared reports include the full analysis:

Key metrics (sessions, conversion rate, conversions)
Zone analysis with correlations
Segment breakdowns
AI-generated insights and recommendations
Applied filters (date range, UTM, etc.)

Common Use Cases

Share with Your Team

Share reports with developers, designers, or marketing colleagues to align on optimization priorities without requiring everyone to have a Clickyard account.

Client Reporting

If you manage websites for clients, share reports to show the value of your optimization work and justify recommendations.

Stakeholder Presentations

Include report links in presentations or documents for executives who want to dive deeper into the analysis.

Documentation

Keep a record of insights by saving share links in your project documentation or decision logs.

Security & Privacy

Link Security

Share links use cryptographically random tokens. They're not guessable and can only be accessed with the exact URL.

Treat Links as Sensitive

Anyone with the share link can view the report. Only share with people you trust. Don't post public links on social media or public forums.

Revoking Access

To revoke access to a shared report, delete the report from your dashboard. The share link will no longer work.

Limitations

  • Viewers cannot regenerate or modify reports
  • Viewers cannot access other reports or your dashboard
  • Report data is a snapshot — it doesn't update with new data
  • You cannot password-protect individual share links
