Quick Start

Get up and running with Clickyard in just a few minutes. Follow these steps to start analyzing your website's conversion patterns.

Before You Start

  • • You need access to your website's code or CMS to install the tracking script
  • • Google Tag Manager access is recommended but not required
  • • Your website should have at least some traffic (50+ daily visitors recommended)

Create an Account

Sign up for a free Clickyard account to get started.

Enter your website domain in the dashboard to receive your tracking code.

Install Tracking Script

Add the tracking code to your website using GTM or direct installation.

Set Conversion Goals

Define what counts as a conversion — a page visit, purchase, or custom event.

Mark UI Zones

2 minutes

Click on important elements on your site to track user interactions with them.

Wait for Data

1-7 days

Collect at least 100 sessions and a few conversions for meaningful analysis.

Step-by-Step Guide

1 Create Your Account

Start by creating a free Clickyard account. You'll need to verify your email address before accessing the dashboard.

2 Add Your Website

In the dashboard, click "Add Website" and enter your domain name (e.g., example.com).

After adding the website, you'll receive a unique tracking code and a widget token for marking UI zones.

Example tracking code:

4 Set Conversion Goals

Define what counts as a successful conversion. Clickyard supports two types of goals:

Page Visit

Track when users reach a specific URL (e.g., thank you page, order confirmation)

Example: https://example.com/thank-you
Custom Event

Track custom events triggered by your code (e.g., purchase, form_submit)

5 Mark UI Zones

Mark the UI elements you want to track. To enter Editor Mode:

  1. Go to your dashboard and find your website
  2. Click the "Mark zones" button
  3. Your website will open with the editor overlay
  4. Click on elements to mark them for tracking
  5. Give each zone a descriptive name

Tip: Focus on elements that influence buying decisions — add to cart buttons, product images, pricing sections, testimonials, and CTAs.

6-7 Wait for Data & Generate Report

Clickyard needs enough data to produce statistically significant insights:

Conversions recommended

Once you have enough data, click "Generate Report" in your dashboard. The AI will analyze user behavior patterns and generate actionable insights.
